John L. Thibaut Sr., 78 of Cliffwood Beach passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Jersey Shore Medical Center. Born in Newark he lived most of his life in Cliffwood Beach. He worked as a mechanic for PNCT in Port Newark.

John is pre deceased by his parents, Raymond and Pearl Thibaut and his sister Marlene Vanliew and her husband Richard. He is survived by his loving wife Kathleen (nee Vanderbilt) and cherished sons; John L.Thibaut Jr. and his wife Carol, David C. Thibaut and his wife Kristine. John also leaves his adored grandchildren; David, Dylan, Jake, Josh, Kenya, Logan, Ava, Jack and his siblings; Barbara Larsen and her husband Norman and Patricia Vanderbilt and her husband George.

Relatives and friends are invited Saturday, February 23 from 2-6 p.m. at the funeral home. His cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Laurence Harbor Fire Department.
