John Lewis Wooten, Jr., 78, passed away February 19, 2019. A native of Greer, son of the late John Lewis Wooten, Sr. and Velma Sloan Wooten, he served in the U.S. Army National Guard and was a retired employee of Mitsubishi Polyester Film. Surviving are his wife, Janet Price Wooten of the home; two sons, Curt Wooten of Greer and Chris Wooten of Lexington; three grandchildren, Woods Wooten, Carsan Wooten and Zuri Wooten; step-children, Jeff Gibbs, Jill Fuller and Julie Wooten all of Greer; and two step-grandchildren, Brandon Krumpton and Bradley Krumpton.

A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2019 at Mount Lebanon Baptist Church. The family is at their respective homes. Memorials may be made to Open Arms Hospice, 1836 West Georgia Road, Simpsonville, South Carolina 29680.
