Shirley Roper Henson, 81, widow of Ralph Nathan Henson, passed away February 13, 2019. A native of Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Nellie Peace Roper; a retired employee of Community Cash and member of Tucapau Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, Tim Henson of the home and a brother, Ralph Roper of Palm Desert, California.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Tucapau Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Jeff Eubanks and Rev. Daniel Godfrey.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorials be made to Tucapau Baptist Church, 4 Chestnut Street, Startex, SC 29377.
