Brenda Delores Cox Bishop, 76, widow of Tommy Lee Bishop, passed away February 2, 2019. A native of Greer, daughter of the late Vernon and Lois Bridges Cox, she was a retired employee of JC Penney and a member of Clearview Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Donna Bishop Thompson of Greer and Tina Michelle Bishop of Greenville; a son, Timothy Lee Bishop (Cherrie) of Pickens; two sisters, Dale Moody of Travelers Rest and Joye Wagner of Greer; six grandchildren, Amanda Bishop Simmons, Brian J. Bishop, Eryn E. Peek, Kalon S. Bishop, Haley N. Holtzclaw and Maddison Wade; and ten great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Bishop was predeceased by one sister, Nancy Willey. Graveside services will be held 3:30 p.m. Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Hillcrest Memory Gardens, conducted by Rev. Travis Burns.

Visitation will be held 1:00-3:00 p.m. Thursday at The Wood Mortuary, Greer, SC. The family is at the home. Memorials may be made to Open Arms Hospice, 1836 West Georgia Road, Simpsonville, South Carolina 29680.
