Edwin Curtis Dacus, 84, passed away January 31, 2019. A native of Greenville county, he was a son of the late William Doyle and Gladys Holland Dacus, U.S. Army Veteran, a retired minister and a member of Oakmont Baptist Church, Greenville, North Carolina. Surviving are his wife, Martha Barnette Dacus; one son, Michael Dacus (Michelle) of Mt.

Pleasant; one daughter, Reba Dacus Bullard (Jon) of Greenville, North Carolina; three brothers, Gene Dacus and Norman Dacus both of Greer and Neal Dacus of Irving, Texas; six grandchildren, Brycen, Carter, Morgan, Meredith, Courtney and Tyler Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary. . Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 3, 2019 at The Wood Mortuary Chapel conducted by Mrs. Dottie Bryson.

Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to DAV, 6437 Garners Ferry Road, Suite 1129, Columbia, South Carolina 29209 or Oakmont Baptist Church, 1100 Red Banks Road, Greenville, North Carolina 27858. Online condolences may be made at www.
