John M. Brucoli, age 71 of Huntington, CT, previously of Stamford and Wilmington, VT; died peacefully Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at his home. Born in Stamford, CT on May 26, 1947, he was the son of Benny and Sophie Brzoska Brucoli. An avid skier, fisherman and outdoorsman, he will be fondly remembered by his family and friends, especially the close friendships he formed as an active member of Seymour Fish and Game Club of Oxford, CT.

He is survived by a sister, Cynthia Brucoli Fortunato of Stamford, his niece and nephew – Emily and Patrick (Violetta) Fortunato, as well as many cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Benny Brucoli and mother Sophie Bryoska Brucoli; and a niece Katie Lynn Fortunato. Family will receive relatives and friends the morning of Saturday, January 5th from 9:00a.m. to 10:30a.m. at the Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Avenue, in Stamford.

A mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus R.C. Church, 325 Washington Blvd, in Stamford. If you wish to make an online remembrance, please sign our online registration book at www. bosakfuneralhome.com.
