Obituary for John Michael Renfro John Michael Renfro, of Antelope California, age 63, passed away unexpectedly on January 14th 2019 in the Sierra Nevada foothills. John was born on February 7th 1955 in Burbank, California to Delbert and Vineta Renfro. After childhood he joined the Army and proudly served for 8 years.
After the military, John began his beloved 36 year career as a truck driver. Since 2011, he drove tankers for Humboldt Pacific Petroleum, which included supplying fuel for various firefighting efforts, something he was very proud of. He was a great admirer and vocal supporter of our soldiers, veterans and public servants.
He enjoyed camping with his family, was an avid fisherman, and a skilled carpenter. He loved restoring classic cars and belonged to several car clubs where he received many trophies from shows. John took great pride in his family, they meant everything to him.
He will be sorely missed by all, including his doggies BJ and Joey. John is survived by his beloved wife of 11 years Tina M. Renfro of Antelope, CA; by his children Delbert Renfro (and wife Stephanie), Vineta Renfro, John Michael Renfro all of Utah, Michelle Findlay (and husband James) of Seaside, CA; by his step-daughter Michelle Hillegass (and husband Paul) of Yuba City, CA; by his step-sons Robert Short (and Leah) of Redding, CA, and Michael Aquino (and wife Lyudmila) of Rancho Cordova, CA; by his siblings David Renfro of Redding, CA and Denise Ann Renfro Davis of Arkansas. John is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Delbert and Vineta Renfro; siblings Ruby Fay, Debra Hodges and Ricky Renfro.
