Obituary for John Morgan Leach II Print John Morgan Leach, II, age 79, husband of Lottie Stamper Leach, died unexpectedly on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Bourbon Community Hospital. He was born on July 14, 1939 in Bourbon County, the son of the late Frank Clay and Nannie Mae Sargent Leach. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Sturgeon.

He was a local farmer that served his community well. Besides his wife Lottie, John is survived by a son, John M. Leach, III (Kim Watkins) of Nicholas County, two grandchildren, Shawn Morgan Leach and Scott Allen Leach (Amanda); two great grandchildren, McKenna Kate Leach and Waylon Scott Leach. He is also survived by a brother, Joseph Layne Leach (Barbara) of Nicholasville and nephew, Robert Sturgeon (Bonnie) and niece, Janice Jackson (Forrest), both of Paris.

The funeral service for John Morgan Leach, II will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with Bro. Dean Scott and Bro. Don Menke officiating.

Interment will follow in Paris Cemetery with casket bearers being Joseph Layne Leach, Scott Allen Leach, Billy Carl Stamper, Forrest Jackson, Robert Clay Sturgeon and Allen Stamper. Honorary bearers are Shawn Leach, Anthony Leach, Freddy Stamper, Johnny Stamper, Donald Stamper, Buddy Conyers and Mike Himes. The family request visitation after 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home, until time for the service.
