Obituary for Mr. John N. Perian Sr. John N Perian Sr., (1921 – 2018) died peacefully at home on September 16th, 2018. John was with his family when he passed. He was a lifetime resident of Paulsboro NJ, the son of immigrant parents.

He had a love for baseball, and was a long ball hitter. He was offered minor league positions that weren’t realized due to the start of the second world war. He served in the US Army during WWII.

He was overseas from February of 1942 until October 1945, and received four Campaign Ribbons and four Battle Stars. After being Honorably Discharged, John married his High School sweetheart, Anita C Keller of National Park NJ. John was also part of the start of the Paulsboro Little League after the war.

Anita C. Perian, his greatest love, passed in 2013. They shared their lives and love, and leave four children behind. John N Perian Jr of Cherry Hill NJ, Theodore Michael Perian of Gibbstown NJ, Ann Marie Leslie of Elk Township NJ, and Jerome Joseph Perian of Deptford Township NJ.

John is also survived by eight grand children and four great grandchildren. The family invites guests to celebrate John’s life at St. John’s Church on Beacon Avenue in Paulsboro NJ at 9:30 am, Tuesday September 25th 2018, followed by a Mass at 11 AM. Arrangements by McBride – Foley Funeral Home, Paulsboro.

After internment at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Bellmawr NJ, there will be a luncheon at The Son’s of Italy on Broad Street in Paulsboro. In Lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Paulsboro Little League, Paulsboro, NJ 08066All are welcome. Memories can be shared at www.
