In 1961 he settled in Orland Park and started work at Andrew Corporation. Retiring in 1996. In 1965, he met his wife at Andrew Corp.

. They were married May 27, 1967. After 51 years 7 months and 1 day, John died on December 28, 2018.

Cherished husband of Patricia nee Lehr. Loving father of John R. Jr., Jason R. (Jessie) and James R. (Eva) Fuglsang. Dear grandfather of Jade, Jetta, Jake and Jameson.

Devoted brother of Walter (Janet) Fuglsang, the late June (the late John) Murray, Edward, Bette (the late Alex) Mitera, Arthur (Judy), Carole ( the late Danny) Stout. Also many nieces and nephews. Son of the late Walter and Marie Fuglsang.

Funeral Saturday 10:00 am at RICHARD J. MODELL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES 12641 W. 143rd St. Homer Glen. Interment Orland Park Memorial Cemetery. Visitation Friday 2:00 – 8:00 pm.
