JOHN S. BARTHOLOMEW of Medford, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 30th, 2018 at the age of 84 years. Born in Hoboken, NJ, he was the son of the late Robert R. & Elsie Bartholomew and has resided in Medford for the past 40 years. John was a graduate of Farleigh Dickinson University and was an Electrical Engineer with General Electric in Phila.

, PA for 33 years until his retirement in 1998. He was a member of the NJ Lacrosse Club and attended Fellowship Alliance Chapel in Medford, NJ. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving with the US Navy.

He is the Beloved Husband of Marie (nee Calabria) Bartholomew of Medford, NJ and the Loving Father of Robert W. (Susan) of Medford, NJ, Nancy “Flower” Bartholomew of Whitefish, MT, Brian B. (James) of NYC, NY and John W. of San Diego, CA. He is also survived by his brother James “Jim” Bartholomew (Liz) of Hopewell, NJ, his sister Jean Disinger of Baldwinsville, NY and his grandchildren Bradford, Hannah, Sarah and Robert Bartholomew. Relatives and friends are invited to greet his family on Friday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Fellowship Alliance Church, 199 Church Road, Medford, NJ, where a Celebration of his life will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM in the Chapel.

Interment will be private in the BG Wm. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, Medford, NJ.
