John Snyder M Culloch, August 01, 1935 — September 10, 2018

Obituary for John Snyder McCulloch FORT WORTH – On September 10, 2018, at 8:55 a.m, as family held hands and encircled John’s body, he passed away peacefully in his sleep, with prayers being spoken over him. John is survived by his wife, Becky and four sons, Barron and wife, Julie, and John’s grandson, “little” John of Vail, Colorado; Teddy makes his home in Fort Worth, Texas; Bob and his wife, Denise, of Lafayette, Louisiana and Johnny, and wife, Susie, and their daughters, Melissa and Meghan, of Plano, Texas. An avid golfer and tireless supporter of the University of Oklahoma, his alma mater, John was a faithful supporter of the OU Alumni Association.

Even as his health declined, John, Barron and Teddy would attend their annual OU vs TX football game. For the last one they attended, Becky sewed matching OU shirts for the three, which they wore proudly. Johnny was a faithful servant ordained by God, passionately loving his wife, children and his namesake, John Wesley.

He attracted friends as magnets with his gregarious personality and was loyal and faithful to those whom were fortunate enough to call him “friend”. His work ethic was impeccable and he worked up to a few days before he left this earth to make provision for his family in a time when he could have been enjoying retirement. Heaven must have needed another angel and God wanted only the best.
