Obituary for John T Monforte John Monforte, age 87, of Whiting, NJ, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Union City, NJ, he lived most of his life in Carteret before moving to Whiting. John has been a resident of Whiting for the past 18 years.

John proudly served with the US Navy until his honorable discharge in 1960. After his military service he worked the majority of his life as a proud business owner in the cable TV industry. He was predeceased by his two brothers Tony and Eugene Monforte.

Surviving is his loving wife of 59 years, Judith, his sons Thomas, his wife, Lisa and Robert, his wife, Lia and his daughter Donna Calabria, and husband, Robert. John is also survived by his brother Frank and his wife, Ethel and his grandchildren Christina and her husband Stephen, Danielle and her husband Christopher, Brian and his wife Megan, Thomas and his wife Anisa, Matthew, and Adrianna, along with is great grandchildren Olivia, Elliot, and Grayson. John is also survived by a son and daughter John and Linda.

A Visitation will take place, Sunday, October 28, from 3-7pm with a funeral service at 6:30pm at “The Family Owned” Carmona-Bolen Home for Funerals, 66 Lacey Rd. Whiting NJ. Condolences can be sent to www.
