John Thomas Head, 92, was born on August 5, 1925, to Lula Bell (Collier) Head and Thomas Bud Head a few miles outside Pryor, Oklahoma. He passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018 following complications from surgery. He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, Wanda (Whitehead) Head and his son, Thomas Eugene Head and wife Debbie (Miller) Head and his son Charles Lee Head.

He is survived by his children Jauna Drake and husband Andy of Tomball, TX, Roger Head and wife Katrina… Read More » of Tulsa, OK and daughter-in-law Frances Head, wife of Charles, of Pryor. He is also survived by his grandchildren Charles Brian Head and wife Heather, Erin King and husband Casey, Stephen Head and wife Kristen, Brandon Head, Michel Head, James Head, Rachel Head and Brian Head and great-grand-children Parker, Laura, Kadance and Gracelyn Head as well as Ryder and Reece King. John grew up on a farm outside Pryor, proudly served his country in the Pacific theater during WWII and returned to Pryor to marry Wanda, the love of his life.

A lifelong resident of Pryor, he is remembered as a faithful and loving husband, father and grandfather.
