Obituary for John W Babiarz John W. Babiarz, also known as “J.B.” of Flower Mound, TX passed away early evening Wednesday, October 10, 2018 – 77 years of age. John was born on August 2, 1941 in Poughkeepsie, NY. He spent his child and adolescent years in New York and joined the military – US Army during war time!

He served his country for 6 years earning a Good Conduct Medal, Rifle Marksman and Carbine Sharp-Shooter badges, and survived the Vietnam war. He then graduated with a business degree at his discharge. John began his business career in California working in the Finance Industry and met his wife, Franki Moore-Babiarz.

Together, they settled in Flower Mound, TX where he lived out the rest of his life with his wife Franki, daughter – Jarrette, and granddaughter – Shelbrianne. John retired from The Associates as a Senior Vice President in 2004 at age 63 and fulfilled his time with his beloved hobbies — golf courses, season tickets to the Dallas Cowboys, frequent visits to Texas Ranger Stadium, and his cigars! He also enjoyed making his daily stops at his favorite grocery store and coffee shop, visiting his local friends at the bank, and above all things – being a “Pa,” which was his favorite thing in life to be.

John is survived by his wife-Franki Moore-Babiarz; daughter-Jarrette Moore; granddaughter-Shelbrianne Moore; grandson-Shawn Babiarz; 2 sons-Steve Babiarz and John Babiarz; sister-Emily Babiarz-Benward; Brother-in-law, Cliff Benward; and many other family and friends near and far.
