Obituary for John Wyatt Reflections of John McGee Wyatt John McGee Wyatt was born on September 17, 1934 in Burlington, North Carolina to the proud parents of Mabel McGee Wyatt and Anderson Wyatt. John departed his earthly life and went to be with the Lord on December 18, 2018. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church where he served as an Usher for many years.

He was educated in Burlington, NC and after graduating from high school John entered the United States Army in July 1954 where he served as a Quarter Master Specialist. He served his country faithfully, was honorably discharged in June 1956, and relocated to White Plains, NY there he married Dorothy Louise Ghee in 1957. John worked for Westchester County Court where he began his career as a Judge’s Clerk and retired as a Probation Officer after 30 years.

John will be truly remembered for his vibrant personality and his love of fine clothing. John is survived by two daughters Natalie Savage and Veronica Wyatt. John was preceded in death by his sister Loretta Wyatt Murray, Junius C. Wyatt and leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Grandson Kalanii Nathaniel Wyatt Savage, two nieces Patricia Ann Jones, Gwyndolyn Murray, a great nephew Nathaniel Jones and a great, great nephew Joshua Jones.

He will be missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. The Entire Staff of Lee’s Funeral Home, LLC respects that the Wyatt family entrusted the care of their loved one to us, and that they value the level of service & attention our funeral home provides.
