Obituary of John Ford Massena & St. Regis Falls – John A. Ford, 70, passed away unexpectedly Friday April 13, 2018 at Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake. Arrangements are entrusted to the Hammill Funeral Home. John was born on August 25, 1947 in Massena, son of the late Allie J. and Esther M. (Martin) Ford.

He married Mary E. Jewtraw on May 8, 1992 in St. Regis Falls, sharing a loving union for over 25 years. He drove truck and delivered for Prior’s in St. Regis Falls for many years. John was a man who accepted others without judgment and enjoyed life, with his wife by his side.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; his daughter and son in law, Tammy and Rick Rakoce of Massena; one sister, Dale West of Watertown; 2 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren . He was predeceased by one sister, Sandy Carbino. John’s family honored his life at a private time.

John will be buried later at St. Ann’s Cemetery in St. Regis Falls in the family lot. Memories and condolences can be shared with John’s family at www. hammillfh.com.
