Obituary for Johnnie George Strange Johnnie George Strange, age 71, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 here in Del Rio. He was born on June 10, 1947 in Pocahontas, AR. Preceding him in death was his father, George Strange.

Family members left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 48 years, Mary Strange of Del Rio; sons: Robert Strange of Laredo, Tx, Edgar Strange and wife Dianne Strange of San Antonio, Tx, Joseph Strange and wife Dora Strange of Del Rio; daugther, Selina Strange and husband Mason Strange of Ray City, GA; mother, Ivon Weatherford of Pocahontas; sisters, Pearl Martin, and Sherry King and husband Kenneth King, all of Pocahontas; Johnnie is also survived by numerous grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Visitation will be held on Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. in the Trinity Chapel of Devotion. A Prayer service will begin at 7 p.m. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Northside Church of Christ, located at 805 E. 12th St. in Del Rio.
