Johnnie White, age 49, of Moorhead, Minnesota, began his journey to the spirit world from his home on Monday, February 4, 2019. Johnnie was born on March 31, 1969, to Jackie White and Elizabeth Choken in Red Lake, Minnesota. He grew up in Red Lake and attended school there.

As an adult he also lived in Moorhead and Minneapolis where he worked as a general laborer. Johnnie loved traveling, especially to spend time with family and friends. He loved laughter and often played jokes on others and spent much time entertaining with his card tricks.

Johnnie is welcomed to the spirit world by his parents Jackie and Betty White and his niece Sinead Mendoza. He will be greatly missed by his brothers Jack and Luke White and sisters Bonnie, Sheryl and Agnes White; his aunt Florence Choken and several nieces and nephews. A wake for Johnnie will begin at 5:00pm Saturday, February 9, at the Boys and Girls Club in Ponemah, Minnesota, and will continue until the service on Monday, February 11 at 12 Noon also at the Center.

Serving as Spiritual Leader will be Allen Hardy. Burial will follow at the White Family Burial Grounds. Pallbearers for Johnnie are Jack White, Luke White, Vincent White, Luke White Jr., Kaiden White, and Timothy Golden.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Sheldon Perkins, Robert Brown, and Randy Adams. Arrangements are being handled by Dennis Funeral Home, Walker, Minnesota.
