Mr. Johnnie Wright was born January 1, 1919 in St. Joseph, Louisiana to Scott Wright II and Lizzie Ella Johnson (Anderson). September 1, 1945 he was united in matrimony to Magdalene who became his wife for 56 years. He was proceeded in death by his his parents, his wife Magdalene, his daughter, Shirley J. Fowler and his daughter Denise Wright and one great grandson, DaVaughn L. Fowler.

He worked for the city of KCMO water services department for 35 years and retired. Johnnie Wright leaves to treasure his memory; daughters, Leola Scott-Ducan and Laverne Wright of Kansas City, Missouri; son, Chester Wright of Pine Bluff; and brother, Scott Wright III, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Lawrence A. Jones and Son’s Linwood Chapel.

Visitation 10:00 A.M. Interment Lincoln Cemetery.
