Johnny Howard White, 69, of Bristol, VA went to be with the Lord after a long battle with cancer on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was born in Richlands, VA on June 9, 1949, a son of the late Howard and Dovie Sue Stump White. He attended New Grace Baptist Church.

Johnny had worked at Electrolux for more than 20 years and had also worked at Universal Fibers as a machinist. He loved to work in his yard, especially in his flowers. He liked to play on the computer and was a TN and VT football fan.

Johnny is survived by his wife, Billie Mae Hayton White; daughter, Jessica Leonard and husband Mark of Hiltons, VA; son, Tim White and wife Sherry of Piney Flats, TN; grandchildren, Hunter Leonard, Tyler White, Dylan White, and Ryan White; step-daughter, Pamela Fricker and husband Billy Griffin of Bristol, VA; step-son, Wayne Hayton and wife Melody of Overland Park, KS; step-grandchildren, Chloe Hayton, Hailey Hayton, Elijah Fricker and Timmy Griffin; and brother, Samuel White and wife Rebecca of Bristol, VA. The family would like to express a special thank you to Dr. Vicky Morgan and the nurses and staff at Ballad Hospice for all the love and care shown to Johnny during his illness. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Blevins Funeral & Cremation Services, Bristol, VA.

The funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Sam Haynes officiating. The committal service and entombment will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Mountain View Cemetery, Bristol, VA. Military Rites will be conducted by the Army National Guard.
