Jonas J. “Honey” Tharp, 79, of Wardensville, WV died on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at the Hampshire Center in Romney, WV. Jonas was born on June 20, 1939 in Wardensville, WV, the son of the late Jonas F. and Bertha Jennings Tharp. He enjoyed driving to Wardensville, being with friends and family, going to church and visiting other relatives in other areas.

A funeral service will be held at the Loy-Giffin Funeral Home in Wardensville, WV on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at 3:00 PM. Officiating will be Pastor Carolyn Martin.

Interment will be in the Wardensville Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wardensville Vol.
