Cloutier, Sr., 71, of Amherst passed away on Friday, December 28th, 2018 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA after a period of declining health. He was born on April 9th, 1947 in Queens, NY to the late Alphonse and Dorothy (Truskolaski) Cloutier. He is also pre-deceased by his in-laws, Ralph and Marie (Bellofatto) Zito, and sister in-law, Joan (Zito) Tuseo.

He worked for FactSet Research in Manchester as a Systems Engineer. Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Christine (Zito) Cloutier; six adoring children, Lisa and her husband Charles Thornton, Sr. of VA, Joseph Cloutier, Jr. and his wife Mandy of NC, Jason Cloutier and his wife Amy of MA, Amanda and her husband David Asplund of MI, Matthew Cloutier, Sr. and his wife Jessica of FL, and Gregory Cloutier and his wife Cara of IL; nine beloved grandchildren, Charles Jr., Christina, Christopher, Chelsea, Alyssa, Matthew Jr., Grace, Liam, and Mason; a sister, Eileen Benfari of CT, and many loving extended family members. His family will love and miss him always, all ways.

Calling hours will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack on Wednesday January 2nd, 2019 from 3 – 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John Neumann Church, 708 Milford Road, Merrimack on Thursday, January 3rd at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, PO Box 1893, Memphis, TN 38101 or online at www.
