Obituary Captain Joseph A. Gildea, USN (Ret. ) passed away suddenly on April 24, 2019 at the age of 90. Loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, Captain Gildea lived a life of honor, duty, faith and love.

Born in Hollidaysburg, PA to Raymond L. Gildea and Madeline Clark Gildea on November 23, 1928, he was the third of their five children.
