Joseph A. Greco, 88 passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Pacifica House in Carlsbad, CA. The funeral will be from the Thiele-Reid Family Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered in St. Cecilia Church, Kearny at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the funeral home on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. Mr. Greco was born in Kearny and lived there for many years before moving to Encinitas, CA 17 years ago.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Joseph was a Project Superintendent for Torcon Construction in Westfield, NJ before retiring. Prior he worked in the same capacity for Frank Briscoe Co..

He is survived by his children, Irene Greco, Frank Greco and his wife, Rosalind and John Greco and his wife, Donna; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Joseph was predeceased by his wife, Teresa M. (nee Sato) Greco and his daughter, Barbara Lee.
