OBITUARY Joseph A. Wowk February 12, 1948 – January 8, 2019 Joseph A. Wowk, 70, peacefully passed away on January 8, 2019. Joseph was born on February 12, 1948 in Wohenfels E. Germany; he was the son of Demetrio & Rosalia Wowk and came to the US with his family in 1957. He was a Vietnam veteran who served in the US Army from January 1968-January 1970.

As a certified mechanic he chose to work as a laborer in many different industries throughout his life. Joseph leaves his wife of 29 years, Marsha (Reeves) Wowk; his siblings, Maria Wowk of Quincy, John Wowk of Peabody, Sophia and her husband Gary Cameron of Salisbury, Olga and her husband Mark Cameron of Salisbury, Helen and her husband Frank Coombs of West Barnstable, and Frank Wowk of Peabody; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held in the Eustis and Cornell Funeral Home, 142 Elm Street, Marblehead on Wednesday, January 16 at 12PM.

Burial with honors will follow in Waterside Cemetery, Marblehead. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 10AM.
