Obituary for Joseph B. Blanchard III Joseph B. Blanchard III, 70, a native of Houma and resident of Vacherie, passed away on April 11, 2018. A visitation will be held in his honor on Friday, April 13, 2018 at Victory Assembly of God (Vacherie) from 9:00 AM until funeral time. A religious service will take place at 12:00 noon.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Bruce Blanchard; daughter, Linda Wible Blanchard (Tim); sons, Joseph Blanchard IV (Alyzabeth), William Blanchard, Clay Usea (Tracy), Pierre Dufrene (Nicole), Jean-Paul Dufrene (Johnna), Rene Dufrene (Brandy), Andre Dufrene (Melizza); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Blanchard II and Maude Schmell Blanchard; sisters, Katherine, Kathleen, and Patricia and baby sister. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, spending time outside, playing chess, and cruises.
