Obituary: Published in the Tri-City Herald on Friday and Saturday, October 19 and 20, 2018 Joseph B. Diaz, 76, of Pasco, WA, passed away at home on October 15, 2018. On June 11, 1942, as a triplet, Joseph was born to Manuel and Guadalupe Diaz, in Fort Lupton, Colorado. On July 17, 1965, 53 years ago, Joseph married Patricia Pfau.

Together they have made their home in Pasco, for 42 years. Joseph was employed by the WA State Employment Security Department, as a job counselor, until retirement. He was a Pasco Senior Center member, past President AFSCME-Retired: Sub Chapter 1021, retired licensed barber, and a member of St Patrick’s Catholic Parish.

Joseph loved bowling, fishing, latch hook, playing cards and games, with grand kids and friends at the Pasco Senior Center. He would have movie marathons of Rocky, Star Wars, western movies, and war movies. Joseph is survived by his wife Patricia Diaz, children Tricia (Ed) Ham, Michael (Desiree) Diaz, Rebecca (Joe) McKenna, Annis (Joe) Arel, brother John Diaz, sisters Marylou Wadley and Connie Haigh, and 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Joseph is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Guadalupe Diaz, twins Rose and Sam, brothers Louis, Mike, Bobby and Manuel Jr, and his triplet brother and sister. A Visitation will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018, 4:00-6:00 pm, at Columbia Memorial Chapel, 224 S 24th Ave, Pasco, WA, with a Rosary at 6:00 pm. A Funeral Mass on Saturday, October 20, 2018, 1:00 pm, at St Patrick’s Catholic Parish, 1320 W Henry St, Pasco, WA.

A Graveside on October 23, 2018, 12:00 Noon, at Calvary Cemetery, 1405 S 24th Ave, Yakima, WA In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Pasco Senior Center, where Joe like to spend so much time with his friends.
