Retired from the State of Ohio where he was a Surveyor. Graduate of Valley Forge Military Academy. Member of Worthington Presbyterian Church, Carey Lodge #420, F&AM, Carey Chapter #159, RAM, Upper Sandusky Council 98 R&SM, Worthington American Legion Post #828, Sharon Twp.

Cemetery Board, and Westerville Wood Working Club. Preceded in death by Joseph F. and Anna Margaret (Pipes) Dible; step-son, Douglas Franklin Brown; great-grandson, Dylan McVetta; sisters, Emily K. Dible and Laurell Frazier; son-in-law, Eddie Hunt. Survived by wife, Barbara (Metzler); children, Leah (Cathy) Cochrane, Darcy Hunt, Jon (Jill) Dible, Elizabeth Jill Dible; step-children, Jeff (Rita) Brown, and Brian (Becky) Brown; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter; siblings, Daniel (Kay) Dible, Ann (Richard) Jewett, and Judy (Thomas) Hebenstreit.
