Retired Franklin County Deputy Sheriff from 1981-2001. Member of Lithopolis Lodge No. 169 F&AM.

USMC Vietnam veteran. Preceded in death by parents, William P. Butsch and Ella Butsch Viet; sister, Sharon Hurth; uncles, Robert, Otto and Herbert Butsch and aunt, Laura Mosel. Survived by wife of 42 years, Suzanne Butsch; daughters, Yvonne (Kevin) Grubb and Melissa Butsch; grandchildren, Kody Luster, Andrew Grubb, Nathan Grubb, and Alex Whitlock; siblings, Marge (Dave), Walt (Rita), Susan (Rob), Randy (Suzanne), and Karen (Dan); many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

Family will receive friends Friday, September 21, 2018 from 3-7 p.m. (Masonic Service Friday 7 p.m.) at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High St., where service will be held Saturday 10 a.m., Pastor Bill Weaver officiating. Interment to follow with military honors at Obetz Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be directed in Bill’s memory to a charity of your choice.
