Obituary for Maitzie Stan Maitzie Stan April 9, 1926 – September 14, 2018. Look up at the most beautiful white cloud in the sky; “the love of my life” Maitzie is peacefully smiling down. Maitzie is sitting up there, eating spaghetti with schmaltz and ketchup; with her Mother Mollie, Rosie, Davey, Max #1, Eva, Jerry, Esther, and Ruth.

Maitzie is smiling and waving at all her friends and relatives who have left us, as each cloud passes by. Maitzie is remembered, lovingly, fondly, and warmly by Michael, Sally, Max, Danielle, Aaron, Erin, EJ, Jodi, John, Philip, Erin, Evan, Carly, Hannah, Lori, Ed, Eric, Lynn, Charlie, Adam, Katie, Athena, Aaron, Christina, Cordelia, Miranda, Shelley, Joel, Jeremy, Michelle, Marta, Robin, David, Neal, Juliana, Michael, Mollie, Mark, Chase, Rosie, Ava, and Leah. I, Ed, cannot wait to join Maitzie and hold hands with her on that beautiful white cloud.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, September 17 at Epstein Memorial Chapel, 3232 E. Main St. Burial will follow at New Agudas Achim Cemetery. Shiva will be observed at the Stan residence on Monday from 4-8pm and Tuesday from 1-4pm. Donations appreciated to the Uncle Davey Fund of Columbus Jewish Foundation.
