Obituary for Joseph “Joe” Nicholas Burch Joseph “Joe” Burch, age 64 of Elkridge, Maryland, died January 10, 2019 in Columbia, Maryland. Joe was the owner/operator of Metro Appliance Service Company, which he owned and operated for 40 years. He enjoyed golf, racket ball, and exercising.

His sports team was the Washington Redskins. He loved being on the Chesapeake Bay, its beaches, and its crabs. He had a love for classic rock music and being with his family and friends.

He was the son of Clarence Vernon Burch Jr. and Rose Patricia Lauriola Burch. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his brother, Dickie Burch; and his sisters, Margaret Copsey and Mary Burch. He is survived by his wife, Sandra L. Portzen Burch; his daughter, Angela Victoria Lewis (Shannon); his sisters, Patsy Gray, Rosanna Roberts (John), Frannie O’Neill (Danny), and Bernie Finkelstein (Elliott); and his grandson, Finn Joseph Lewis.
