OBITUARY Joseph “Joey” Edward Sweet Jr. May 5, 1961 – July 23, 2018 Joseph “Joey” Edward Sweet Jr., 57 years of age passed away Monday, July 23, 2018 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. Joey was born May 5, 1961 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Joseph Sr. and Leona Sweet. He was a general manager at Howells Motor Freight in Clarksville, Indiana for over 22 years and was a member of the Masonic Lodge in downtown Louisville.

Survivors include his wife Denise Sweet, children, Jessica Watts, Leona Sweet, and Patrick Sweet, sister, Debbie Pellman, Tina Riley, and Kathy Lyles, brother, Michael Sweet, grandchildren, Joseph, Emily and Allison Watts, and Skylynn Russell. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday and after 9:00 am Saturday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring St., New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Saturday at the funeral home chapel with burial at Greenlawn Cemetery in Greenville, Indiana.
