Mr. Joseph Lee Chosewood, Sr., age 81, of Douglasville, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019. He was born June 27, 1937 to the late Josh Joseph and Nellie Chosewood. He was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Carter Chosewood; his daughter, Theresa Harrin; his son, Charlie Chosewood; his sister, Elaine Blankenship.

He is survived by his daughter, Sheila Jones and her husband, Kenneth of Conyers, Margaret Atkins and her husband, Kevin of Montgomery, AL; son, Jody Chosewood and his wife, Donna of Greenville; sisters, Evelene Smallwood of Griffin, Margaret Smallwood and her husband, Leroy of Rockmart, Emily Stewart and her friend, Joe C. Hyde of Douglasville; brothers, Franklin D. Chose wood of Lovejoy, Denny Chosewood of Douglasville, Raymond Chosewood of Stockbridge, Donald Chosewood and his wife, Mary of Batesville, AR; step daughter, Diane Miller; 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 2 o’clock in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Pastor Don Sansbury officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
