Mr.Joseph Lee Johnson Jr known to those who love him as Ted was born on August 9, 1954 to the union of Joseph Lee Johnson Sr And Mother Ida Mae Johnson Joseph had a smile with a dimple that could light up a dull room. He was so full of life and loved his family unconditionally. In his 64 years of living he captured to hearts of many and left an impression on everyone he met.

Joseph was a jack of all trades if he couldn’t fix it it wasn’t broke. Joseph enjoyed many things in life but his favorite thing to do was fish. Joseph was a loving ,caring,funny,courageous father,son,brother,uncle, nephew,cousin,and most importantly to him a grandfather.

Joseph was the type of man to never think about hisself he could have the weight of the world on his shoulders and would still manage to hold you up. He had a heart of gold and was always willing to show you if it meant giving you the shirt off of his back. Joseph fought a long fight in the battle of life before god told him it was time to turn those gloves into beautiful wings that he so very much deserved.

Joseph is proceeded in death by his father Joseph Lee Johnson Sr,His mother Mother Ida Mae Johnson,His son Justin Leslie Johnson,His Daughter Portia L Adams,His brother-in-law & friend Albert C Ellis and a very special Nephew Jonathan Lee Adams. Joseph is Survived by 3 sisters Doris (Malcolm) Woodall,Sherry(Jeffery)Harris Sr,Ada(Kevin)Adams Sr,6 children Derrick L Adams,Julia L Johnson,Lana N Johnson,Joseph L Johnson III,Dennis (Jennifer)Dunn and Janessa (Bryant) Streate, 9 grand children and expecting 1 more Justin L Johnson,Joseph L Johnson IV,Janiya N Streate,Bryah A Streate,Jazmine L Johnson,Le’Braughn L Streate,J’Aidien J Streate,Ja’Liyah L Johnson and Bryant A Streate Jr ,A special friend Terry D Carfino and a host of Neices,Nephews and cousins. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00 pm.
