Obituary Joseph Norris Cook 93, former resident of Ware Shoals, widower of Bonnie Smith Cook, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019 in W. Islip, NY. Born in Varnville, S.C., December 11, 1925, he was the son of the late Laurie Walter and Jennie Harvey Cook. Mr. Cook retired after a successful career managing meat markets throughout S.C.

He was a bi-vocational pastor since 1948 and a member of the Zion Assembly Church of God achieving the level of Bishop.
