Obituary for Joseph “Oogie” Langan Joseph “Oogie” Langran, age 73, of Austin, died Monday October 29, 2018 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Home. Joe was born July 11, 1945 in Austin, Minnesota to Henry (Stella Drummond) Langan. He grew up in Austin.

Joe served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Joe was an over the road truck driver, working for his brother Robert. He also enjoyed hunting, playing cards and portraying his unique personality at the Windrift Longue.

Survivors include his sister Mary Gatzke, Bryon, Minnesota, 3 sisters-in-law; Barbra L. Langan, Austin, MN, Gloria Langan, Austin, MN, Barbra Austin; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 3 sisters, A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am on Friday, November 2, 2018 at Mayer Funeral Home.
