Joseph Orlando passed away November 11, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Joseph was born on December 30, 1922 to his parents Michael and Sarafina Orlando in Dos Palos, Ca. Joseph was a cotton farmer, rancher for many years and also owned Orlando grocery on Merrill ave in Dos Palos.

Although he tried different careers his heart was always a cotton farmer. Joseph liked to do the simple things in life he loved family dinners, holidays with the family, watching football on T.V. even though he was a flip flop fan with the Raiders and 49ers. He loved going to Table Mountain on Sundays with his son Mike he also enjoyed traveling on his last trip he went on a Honors Flight to see the National War Memorials.

He also loved walking his four legged friend Ms.Kelly. Joseph was a long time member of the American Legion, Rotary and the school board in Dos Palos. Joseph leaves behind to cherish his memory his son Mike and his wife Jo Orlando, his son Paul Orlando and his husband Randy Kaplan, grandchild Jon and his wife Valerie Orlando and great grandchild Ryan Anthony and also sister in-law Judy Orlando.

Joseph is preceded in death by his wife June Orlando, his sons Jim and Jack Orlando, his parents Michael and Sarafina Orlando and his brothers Tony, Fred, Ace and Andy Orlando. The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be sent to St. Agnes Hospice, 6729 N. Willow # 103 Fresno, ca 93710.
