Joseph Parker (Tinker) Hillman, on May 26, 2018, Joe passed away peacefully at the age of 82. Joe was born in Somers Point NJ to Joseph and Rose (Monichetti) Hillman and grew up in Wildwood and Atlantic City. He earned a bachelor’s degree from St. Joseph’s University and spent his career as an accountant.

Joe proudly served in the US Army in Germany during the Korean conflict. He lived and worked for many years for Limitorque of Lynchburg Virginia before relocating to Westville NJ in 2005. Joe enjoyed spending time outdoors, building classic NJ model boats, and ‘tinkering’.

He was a devout Catholic and active member of Our Lady of the Angels parish and devoted many hours to helping those in need through his work at food banks and as treasurer of the St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Joachim’s parish. Joe was preceded in death by his mother Rose, for whom he lovingly cared for many years during her extended illness; his father Joseph; and his nephews Jimmy and David. He is survived by two sons, Mark and Matthew (Julie), two daughters, Debra Sillman and Tiffanie.

He is the proud grandfather of Zachary (Megan), Alex, Abby, Jessica, David and Jacob; and great-grandfather of Riley and Baylee. Beloved brother of Camillo (Alice), John (Marie), Anthony (Linda), and Michael (Debra). He will also be greatly missed by his nieces Susan, Maryanne, Rosemarie, Jenny, Jeannemarie and Dawn, nephew Paul and many friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation 9:30am Friday June 1 at DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL HOME, 171 Delaware Street, Woodbury NJ, followed by the funeral Mass at 10:30am at St. Patrick’s Church, 86 Cooper Street, Woodbury NJ, In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Joachim’s Parish of Bellmawr.
