OBITUARY Joseph Paul Puchalik II June 24, 1940 – September 10, 2018 Joseph Paul Puchalik II, 78, of Washington Twp. , passed away on Monday, September 10, 2018. Beloved husband of Patricia.

Devoted father of Joanne Tompkins, Joseph III and his wife Sarah, and Robert and his wife Jamee. Loving grandfather of Sophia, Wyatt, Lilah, Liesl and Joseph IV. Dear brother of the late Paul.

Born and raised in Bayonne, he lived in North Plainfield before moving to Washington Twp. in 1973. He received his Bachelor and Master Degrees in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University and was an avid fan of Villanova Wildcats basketball.

Joseph was a Sr. Sanitary Engineer with Rockland County, NY. Visitation will take place at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, on Thursday from 4-8 pm. A Mass celebrating Joseph’s life and faith will be held on Friday at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Hillsdale at 10 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to a charity of your choice.
