Joseph’s Obituary Joseph R. Remkus, age 89, of South Holland, IL, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Mary T. Remkus, nee O’Connor. Loving father of Joseph M. Remkus, Robert C. Remkus, Joanne M. (David) Smith and Julie A. (Steven) Smith.

Proud grandfather of Elizabeth (Christopher) Ruderschmidt, Victoria (Robert) McMahon, Suzanne Smith and Michael Smith. Preceded in death by his parents George and Helen Remkus, and by many siblings. Visitation Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home 649 E. 162nd St. (Rt.
