Joseph Harold Reed, age 40, of Moon Twp. , formally of Butler, passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2018. Born March 26, 1978 in Kittanning, he was the son of Lorraine Mary Smith Beers.

In the 90’s, he attended Butler High School. Joe was Christian by Faith. He was a concrete finisher mason by trade.

Joe was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan who loved watching the Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins. He loved going out to dinners with his family and watching movies. He enjoyed bowling, coaching youth sports, the outdoors, and hiking at McConnell Mills.

Joe will be remembered as a loyal friend and always there to help others. He is survived by his daughter Brianna Nicole Reed; his step dad and mom Don and Lorraine Beers of Butler; his siblings John William Reed of Butler, Todd Allen Reed of Mt Oliver, Crystal Brooks of Butler; father John Reed; and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be on Saturday, from 5pm to 7pm at the Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home, 387 Main Street, Prospect.

It will conclude with a prayer service at 7pm. The family is accepting Appeals For Donation on the funeral home website or at the viewing. www.
