Obituary for Mr. Joseph St John Mr. Joseph St John, 75, of Pittsfield, passed away on November 23, 2018 at home. Born in Gainesville, FL on March 24, 1943 the son of Joseph and Catherine Mason St John. Mr. St. John worked as an Electrician for CSX Transportation for many years.

He also worked in the lab at M.I.T. which he enjoyed very much. He sold real estate as well. He could build almost anything.

He enjoyed late night movies, cooking, sewing, telling the stories of his past, carpentry and tinkering around the house. He had a passion for tractors and working out on the back forty. He loved music, especially Amy Winehouse.

One of his fondest memories was seeing Ray Charles play with his first wife Sandra (a wonderful woman and the mother of his children) at a small club in Boston to a handful of people. He spent time in Albuquerque, NM which he loved, and his favorite restaurant there was Baca’s – he loved Mexican food. He also met the Boston strangler in a bar in Nova Scotia with his first wife Sandra, that was one of his favorite stories to tell.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy. He also leaves his three children, Jason (LeeAnn) St. John, Catherine St. John and Sarah DeFlumeri. He is also survived by his grandson Walter St. John.

Mr. St John was predeceased by his first wife, Sandra, who passed away in 1998. He will join his beloved pets Benny and Kirby in eternal peace. Funeral Notice: Funeral services for Mr. Joseph St John were private.
