Joe W. Mueller Sr., 82, of Covington, passed away Tuesday December 18, 2018 at the V.A. Hospital in Cincinnati. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, a member of St. John Catholic Church in Covington, a member of the American Legion Post # 213 in Latonia, and he was a retired Instructional Assistant for the Covington Independent Schools. Joe was preceded in death by parents, Edward and Helen Naegele Mueller; grandson, Matt Winkler; brother, Edward Mueller; and sister, Helen Hines.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Fabian “Faye” L. Froelicher Mueller; son, Joey Mueller Jr. of Covington; daughters, Debbie Winkler of Covington, Donna (Rob) Dieman of Covington and Sandy (Clyde) Arnold of Independence; grandchildren, Rob (Christina) Dieman, Jennifer Dieman, Nicole Winkler, Jessica Arnold and Austin Arnold; and great grandchildren, Juliet Winkler, Wyatt Dieman and Owen Dieman; and his dog, Zoe. Visitation is Wednesday, December 26, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Covington. Mass of Christian Burial is Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church, Covington.

Interment, with military honors, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, Williamstown, KY. Memorials are suggested to the Veterans Administration of Fort Thomas, P.T.S.D. Unit, 1000 South Fort Thomas Avenue, Fort Thomas, KY 41075.
