Josephine C Holden passed away Friday July 6,2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital @ Rahway surrounded by her loving family. She was born and resided in Newark before moving to Clark in 1963. Josephine was a Office Manager for Dr. Bert and Lee Kaswiner in Springfield for over 30 years retiring 20 years ago.

Josephine was predeceased by her husband Wilbur (Bill) Holden, her parents Salvatore and Josephine Mistretta, her sister-in-laws Eva and Marie Mistretta. Surviving her daughter Gail Whalen and her husband Robert, her grandchildren Sam, Natalie, Mary and Kenneth, and her great grandchildren Mia, Kenneth, Sophia and James (Jimmy). She is also survived by brothers Frank Mistretta and Vincent Mistretta, her nieces, Debra Jo, Laura, Susan, her nephews Salvatore, Frank and Vincent.

She will forever be remembered and cherished by the three generations of her family. Visitation Sunday July 8, 2018 from 3:00PM to 7:00PM at the Gossselin Funeral Home 660 New Dover Road Edison. Funeral Services Monday July 9, 2018 at 8:30AM at the funeral home followed by a 9:45AM Mass at St Agnes RC Church Clark.
