Obituary for Josephine “Jo” Plemel Josephine Plemel, 100, of Cheyenne passed away December 28, 2018 at Cheyenne Healthcare Center. She was born September 1, 1918 in Kemmerer to Isador and Maria DeMarco. She graduated high school in Cripple Creek, CO and Parks Business College.

She married Thomas Plumel on September 7, 1940 in Rock Springs, WY. In 1953 they moved to Cheyenne where she went to work for the Wyoming Game and Fish for over 30 years. She is a member of St. Mary’s Cathedral and is an avid bridge player and loved bingo.

She is survived by her daughters, Mary Snow and Pat Plemel of Cheyenne Margaret (Alan) Mertens of Fort Collins, CO and Martha Dan) Pradel; grandchildren, Dennis (Cindy) Snow, Diana (Jake) Tafoya, Dan (Vicki) Snow, Debbie (Brian Stokes) Hall, Dan (Laurie) Pradel, Jr., Chrissy (Craig) Doherty, Tom (Julie) Pradel, Alan (Renee) Mertens, Jr., Joe Mertens, Dan (Tina) Mertens, Jennifer (Steve) Kile, Stephanie (Mike) Crookston; 31 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings, Tony DeMarco, Richard DeMarco and Florence Benvegnu. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary’s School.

A Vigil for the Deceased will be 6:00 p.m. Thursday in the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. The Funeral Liturgy will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday St. Mary’s Cathedral with interment to follow in Olivet Cemetery.
