OBITUARY Josephine Kickerillo Combs November 22, 1924 – July 24, 2018 Josephine Kickerillo Combs of Houston, Texas, passed away on July 24, 2018 at the age of 93. Josephine was a loving wife, sister, aunt, and friend. Her beloved husband, Carl, precedes Josephine in death.

As one of fourteen children to Domineck and Sarah Kickerillo, Josephine grew up in Bryan, Texas. After high school, Josephine met and married Carl Combs, the love of her life. Together, they traveled and lived all over the world, including Germany, the Philippines, Taiwan, and the cities of Paris, France and St. Louis, Missouri, before ultimately making Houston, Texas home.

Josephine was known as an avid gardener, a lover of beautiful China, and linens that she collected during her travels, and a proud mother to her German Shepherd puppies. Her friends and family will forever remember her kind words, sweet disposition, strength of character, faith in God, and twinkling eyes. Josephine is survived by her brother, Vincent Kickerillo and wife, Mary; sister, Corine Williford; nephews, Mark Williford, and wife, Darla, Marlin Williford, Jr. and wife, Cindy; niece Kelli Kickerillo and husband Todd Forester; great nephews, Mark Williford, Jr., Wyatt Williford, Wade Williford, Kick Forester; great nieces, Laura Williford, Mary Williford, and Whitney Williford.

Family will receive visitors on July 26, 2018 from 6pm-8pm at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home in Houston and there will be a funeral service on July 27, 2018 at 10am officiated by Rev. Barbara Retzloff, Associate Pastor of Pines Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow the funeral service at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.

Active pallbearers are Todd Forester, Tom McQuilling, Jim Miller, Mark Williford, Mark Williford, Jr., Marlin Williford, Jr., Wade Williford, and Wyatt Williford. The honorary pallbearer is Vidal Ramirez.
