OBITUARY Josephine Martinez Minjares January 18, 1933 – January 23, 2019 Josephine Martinez Minjares, 86, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, January 23, 2019. She was born on January 18, 1933 to Arturo and Lorenza Martinez in San Antonio, Texas. Joesphine was a member of Hijas de Maria at San Fernando Cathedral, Cruz del Apostolado at Christ the King, Guadelupana at Christ the King, and a member of the Altar Society at Christ the King She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Arthur Jr. and Ralph Martinez; sisters: Mary, Connie, Toni.

She is survived by her children: Robert Minjares and wife Maryjane, Patricia Huedepohl and husband Bill, Ernest Minjares and wife Debra, Susan Casares and husband Ruben; 9 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren; sisters: Gloria Torres and Angela Lopez and husband Richard. Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel Roy Akers Monday, January 28, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. On Tuesday, January 29, 2019 the Funeral Procession will depart at 11:30 a.m. for a 12:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection at Christ the King Catholic Church with Interment to follow at San Fernando II. FAMILY She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Arthur Jr. and Ralph Martinez; sisters: Mary, Connie, Toni.

She is survived by her children: Robert Minjares and wife Maryjane, Patricia Huedepohl and husband Bill, Ernest Minjares and wife Debra, Susan Casares and husband Ruben; 9 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren; sisters: Gloria Torres and Angela Lopez and husband Richard.
