Josephine Runk, 93, of Philipsburg RD, passed away at her home on Wednesday, July 18, 2018. Born November 15, 1924 in Clearfield, she was a daughter of the late Willis I. & Ada V. (Lippart) Long. Josephine was a 1944 graduate of Clearfield High School and was a member of Rock United Methodist Church, West Decatur.

Josephine is survived by a daughter Judy E. Hughes and her husband Alvin, a granddaughter Erin Brimmeier and her husband Paul, and two great grandsons Parker James and Nolan Henry, all of Philipsburg RD. The last of her generation, she was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister Mabel “Pat” Young, and two brothers Robert Long and Willis I. Long Jr. A celebration of life service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at the Philipsburg Cemetery.

Honoring Josephine’s request, there will be no public visitation. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Rock United Methodist church, PO Box 41, West Decatur, PA 16878. Online condolences to the family may be made at www.
