Josephine Shank, 70, of Mount Joy, passed away on Thursday, May 09, 2019 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. Born in Manheim, she was the daughter of the late Walter and June (Dissinger) Sites. Josephine was the wife of the late George G. Shank who passed away on October 3, 2011.

Josephine enjoyed camping and spending time with her family. She is survived by 4 daughters, Tina Zink, wife of James of Mount Joy, Linda Moore, wife of Dennis of Myrtle Beach, SC, Donna Stoudt, wife of Harvey of Mount Joy and Diana Palacios, wife of Jake of Columbia, twelve grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and two sisters, Betty Safford, wife of Jack of FL and Margie Bennett, wife of Ben of FL. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Jean Enck, Joan Breidgan and Janice Males; and a step brother, Harold Sites.

A funeral service honoring Josephine’s life will be held at the Sheetz Funeral Home, Inc. 16 East Main Street, Mount Joy on Monday, May 13, 2019 at 11 AM. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM. Interment will follow at Camp Hill Cemetery, Mount Joy.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Community Care, 685 Good Drive, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.
